Today we honor Specialist Four Robert Boyd Mossgrove, of Wellsburg West Virginia, who served with Company E, 2nd Battalion, 60th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 9th Infantry Division, United States Army. Robert was fatally wounded on February 25, 1970 in the Long An province of South Vietnam. He was 21 years old.

A recipient of the Purple Heart and the Air Medals Specialist Four Mossgrove is honored on the Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial in Washington DC on Panel 13W, Line 54. Robert lies in rest at Brooke Cemetery in Wellsburg West Virginia. Lest We Forget.
